Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette | Review, Swatch
How are you all? sorry for being lax in posting.I have been keeping extremely busy these days so could not post on a regular basis. Finally,I have become a professional makeup artist and moved to Delhi. So a step closer to my dream. 🙂
What we look for in an eyeshadow palette? Great pigmentation? super bendability? Longevity ? And what if I tell, you can get your dream palette without shelling 4000 INR on an Urban decay palette?
If you have seen my June Favorite Post and took participation in my First Blog Giveaway you might recall how I sang praises for this amazing palette. It is the most versatile palette I have spotted in recent times yet one of those unsung heroes! I do not know why the beauty blogosphere never spoke about this amazing palette which is great for Indian beauties.
What is so Impressive About Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette?
• It has all the rich warm tones required to achieve Indian bridal makeup look.
• All the shades feel extremely buttery and smooth to touch. I have hardly seen palettes which are affordable and so consistent with all the shades.
• The shades lasted well for 7-8 hours on me after that I noticed some minimal fading.
• You do not need a Fix + with this. The shades show up well on their own.
• Pigmentation is top notch.
Now I will put a mini review of each of the shades in the palette!
Bitter Start is a light beige with semi-matte finish. It is a pretty common shade that is easily dupable.
Sweeter End is a mauvy champagne color. If there’s one shade that I use regularly after MAC All That Glitters it has to be this. Amazing quality.
Warm Notes is a rich cranberry color with a metallic sheen. It looks quite similar to MAC Cranberry eyeshadow.
Subtle Blend is a dark golden bronze with intense pigmentation. A must have color for Indian bridal makeup.
Beans are White is a blackened brown with semi-matte finish. I am not a fan of this particular shade. It applies little chalky on the lids and hard to blend.
Pure Ganache is a golden copper with a metallic sheen. the color is super gorgeous and intensely pigmented and buttery. This one and Subtle Blend are my personal favorites.
Substitute for Love is a medium orange brown which has a matte finish. It is a great transition shade and looks gorgeous paired with metallic shades.
Freshly Toasted is a muted, medium-dark reddish brown with warm, orange-red undertones and a matte finish. It reminds me of Makeupgeek Cocoabear eyeshadow which is warmer or redder.
Infusion is a blackened brown with subtle golden flecks. The golden flecks are very subtle and not at all chunky or glittery.
Delicate Acidity is a taupe plum which is gorgeous. It is a cool tone shade but works amazingly on Indian skin tones.
∗ The swatches are not doing justice to the palette’s awesomeness. So sorry for the crappy picture 🙁
Final Words on Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette:
If you want to own one single eyeshadow palette for doing Indian bridal makeup looks I would highly recommend this one. It contains great matte shades, shimmery browns, coppers, gold, cranberry, what not! The quality is amazing, no fallout or creasing, stays put the whole day, affordable! Do I need to say more? Grab one if you can get your hands on it!
WMP Rating of Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette: 4.5/5
